Transmission 1.3, with Web Interface

Mexican Ara Net Profit Rises 2.6 Pct in the 2nd Trim

The oil giant, Chevron Corp. Total SA and joined an impressive series of earnings during the Friday, to mark the first time that the six largest oil companies in the world exceed 50 billion dollars profit in a quarter.

To achieve this record, Chevron announced that its profits during the second quarter increased by 11% to 5.98 billion dollars from 5.38 billion achieved a year ago. This means a gain per share of 2.9 U.S. dollars against 2.52 dollars in 2007.

Consumer Confidence is Mexico Collapses in June
